We look forward to your application and are excited to find out who will win over the jury with their worthy, unique projects this year.

The former director of the European School Karlsruhe, Mr Tom Høyem, lives in two cities, Karlsruhe local and international, which he both likes. Unfortunately, these two cities don’t know each other very well nor do they exchange with each other so there is a lack of communication and constructive dialogues which could benefit from both experience and perspective. With a little bit of exaggeration you can say Karlsruhe local is often ignoring Karlsruhe international. On the opposite side Karlsruhe international is very arrogant towards Karlsruhe local. Both of these beautiful cities deserve a dialogue. Hence Mr Høyem decided to create the European Dialogue Silver Award in the European School Karlsruhe.

2016 - Benjamin Weiler

Wirtschaftsjunioren KarlsruheThe "European Dialogue Silver Award“ was awarded for the fourth time on September, 19th 2016.
The prize went to the “Wirtschaftsjunioren Karlsruhe” and Mr Benjamin Weiler, Chairman of the Wirtschaftsjunioren Karlsruhe, received the award.
The “Wirtschaftjunioren” are a group of young, independent entrepreneurs and executives aged up to 40 years. Social and political commitment, the ability to try a new direction, dynamism - all this characterizes the nature and work of the “Wirtschaftjunioren Karlsruhe”. The exchange in experience and joint projects give members the opportunity to use their interests and abilities and to fill current topics with life.
At the award ceremony, the music teacher of the European School Karlsruhe, Elmar Klagges, opened up the ceremony with a piano piece.
Hanns Heidberg, jury member of the European Dialogue Silver Award, held the laudatory speech about the prize winners. The ceremony ended with congratulations to the Wirtschaftsjunioren and stimulating conversation.

2015 - Bernd Ruf • 2014 - Hartmut Lorek • 2013 - Wilhelm Bühler
